Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026. By using KAPITLY you agree to these terms.

The short version

KAPITLY is a marketplace, not an adviser. We review every pitch before it's listed, but we cannot guarantee that founders, companies or opportunities are genuine, and we are not responsible for scams, fraud, or the outcome of any investment. Always do your own due diligence and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

1. What KAPITLY is — and what it is not

KAPITLY is a technology platform that connects founders who publish investment pitches with investors who browse them. We provide the venue, the tools and the review process — nothing more.

KAPITLY is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank, or financial services provider. We do not sell securities, we do not handle or hold investor money, we do not participate in any transaction between founders and investors, and we are never a party to any deal you make.

Nothing on KAPITLY is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. No content on the platform should be read as a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment.

2. No guarantee of listings, founders or outcomes

Pitches, company descriptions, traction claims, financial figures and decks are submitted by founders. KAPITLY reviews submissions for completeness and obvious problems before publishing, but we do not audit, verify, investigate or endorse any claim, founder, company or opportunity.

A pitch appearing on KAPITLY — including pitches marked as reviewed or approved — does not mean it is accurate, legitimate, solvent, or a suitable investment for you.

3. Scams, fraud and your responsibility

Important: KAPITLY does not accept responsibility or liability for scams, fraud, misrepresentation, or dishonest conduct by any user of the platform.

Some people may use investment marketplaces to run scams. Despite our review process, a fraudulent founder or a false pitch may still appear on KAPITLY. You alone are responsible for verifying every opportunity before you commit money: check registrations, request references, inspect documents, involve your own lawyer or adviser, and treat every claim as unverified until you have proven otherwise.

Early-stage investing is high risk. Most startups fail, and it is common to lose your entire investment. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose completely.

If a deal looks too good to be true, it usually is. If someone pressures you to act quickly, asks for payment outside normal channels, or avoids verification — report them to us immediately and walk away.

4. Your account and conduct

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use KAPITLY only for lawful purposes. You may not misrepresent yourself, your company or your finances, scrape the platform, harass other users, or attempt to circumvent our review process or fees.

We may suspend or remove any account, pitch or message that violates these terms or that we consider harmful to the platform or its users, at our discretion.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment provider and renew automatically until cancelled. Plan fees pay for access to the platform's features and limits — they are not payment for investment outcomes, and they are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAPITLY and its operators provide the platform "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAPITLY shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform, including but not limited to: losses caused by fraud or scams, misrepresentation by other users, failed or unsuccessful investments, lost profits, lost capital, lost data, or deals conducted between users outside the platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of KAPITLY after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. The current version is always available on this page.

8. Contact

Questions, reports of suspicious behaviour, or takedown requests: contact us through the platform's messaging or at the support address listed in your account settings.
